Fatal Traffic Crashes In Sarasota Cause Local Police To Increase Patrols And Ticketing
In Sarasota County this year 35 people have already died in traffic crashes. That is an increase of almost 200% compared to the same time period last year. That is why Sarasota sheriff deputies will be out in force at some of the most dangerous intersections and roads. (read more)
This past week a Sarasota resident was killed on an I-75 ramp and another teen critically injured. The sheriff’s department is hoping the extra effort on their behalf will get the point across to drivers on how important it is to be safe on Manatee County roads.
