BRADENTON TRAFFIC BLOG: Did A Bad Tooth Lead To A Car Accident And Will It Save This Woman From A Ticket?

When it comes to creative excuses to avoid traffic tickets, cops have probably heard them all. Some are legendary. The Bradenton Police Department are charged with finding out if the latest excuse for a traffic accident is real or made-up. A 33-year-old woman was involved in a single car accident and told police the cause of the crash was an abscessed tooth according to a story on Bradenton.com.

The woman claimed the pain from her bad tooth was so bad she lost control of her car and hit a flagpole, fire hydrant and bus bench. She suffered serious enough injuries that she was flown to a local hospital. The accident occurred on Manatee Avenue after 9:00 p.m. last night. The street was closed so a helicopter could land and take the woman to the hospital.
