PINELLAS TRAFFIC BLOG: FHP Searching For Largo Driver In Hit-And-Run Fatality
Hit-and-Run or Leaving The Scene of an Accident is a serious charge in a fender bender but when the driver kills a pedestrian it elevates to a serious crime and that is why the Florida Highway Patrol is asking for the help of the public in Pinellas County. According to a story on the St. Petersburg Times website, the FHP is seeking anyone with information on a Thursday night hit and run crash.
Tony Sorenson was killed walking across Ulmerton around 8:00 p.m. The 41-year-old resident of Ft. Meyers was hit by a silver Ford F-150.
