TAMPA DUI BLOG: Police Investigating If DUI Was A Factor In Woman Killed Crossing The Street

Monday night a Tarpon Springs woman was run over and killed crossing the street at U.S. 19. On Wednesday Tarpon Springs Police identified the woman as 45-year-old Charlotte Boynton according to a story on TBO.com. She was struck while pushing a bicycle across the street at approximately 7:20 p.m.

Investigators are now trying to find the cause of the accident. They are reviewing witness accounts and evidence while awaiting toxicology reports to see if DUI was behind the fatal accident. No charges have been filed yet and the Tarpon Springs Police say none will until the investigation is complete.
